Live Chat — Managing Your Stream Chat

Your stream chat is built into the dashboard. Fans enter their name and email once to join chat — they're remembered for 30 days on return visits to your page.

Chat controls in Dashboard → Live:

Chat ON/OFF toggle — enables or disables chat for your stream entirely. When off, the chat panel is hidden on the fan page and fans cannot send messages.

Deleting a message — click the trash icon next to any message to soft-delete it. The message disappears from the fan page immediately but stays in your Chat History for reference.

Banning a viewer — click the Ban pill next to any message. That viewer's email is banned for the current stream session. Bans are tied to the stream session — they expire naturally when you end the stream and start a new one. A new stream = a clean slate.

Messages are rate-limited to one per 8 seconds per viewer to prevent spam.
