Setting Up OBS for BCKSTG Live

BCKSTG Live uses RTMPS — the same protocol as Twitch and YouTube. If you've streamed before, setup is the same process.

Step 1 — Go to Dashboard → Live Your stream credentials are generated automatically the first time you visit. You'll see:

• RTMPS Server (always visible)
• Stream Key (masked by default — click reveal to view, click copy to copy)

Step 2 — Open OBS → Settings → Stream

• Service: Custom
• Server: rtmps://live.cloudflare.com:443/live/
• Stream Key: paste your key from the dashboard

Step 3 — Configure your scene Set up your camera, audio, overlays — same as any other stream.

Step 4 — Click Start Streaming in OBS OBS connects to BCKSTG. Your dashboard status bar updates from idle (pulsing dot) to LIVE NOW (solid red dot) within a few seconds.

Step 5 — You're live Your fan page updates automatically. Fans visiting your profile see the live player. The LIVE ON BCKSTG badge appears on your social links.

Your stream key is permanent — you only need to set this up in OBS once.
